Terms of service

Last updated 18 January 2025. By playing on Lurec Network you agree to these terms.

1. General rules

  • Respect others. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination and abusive behaviour are not tolerated.
  • No cheating or exploiting. Cheats, hacks or exploits that give an unfair advantage are prohibited.
  • Follow staff instructions. Ignoring staff may lead to disciplinary action.
  • No spamming. Do not spam chat or commands.

2. Account responsibility

  • Account security. You are responsible for securing your Minecraft account. Lurec Network is not liable for loss or damage from unauthorised access to it.
  • Sharing accounts. Sharing accounts is discouraged. Any action taken on your account is your responsibility.

3. Server changes

  • Modifications. Lurec Network may modify, update or shut down the server at any time without notice. We try to give reasonable notice when we can.
  • Content ownership. Builds, structures and other player-generated content on the server become the property of Lurec Network. By creating content on the server you grant Lurec Network a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use, modify and distribute it.

4. Purchases and donations

  • Refunds. Purchases and donations are final and non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
  • Chargebacks. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute results in an immediate, permanent ban.

5. Disciplinary actions

  • Bans and mutes. Staff may warn, mute, kick or ban players who break these terms. Decisions are final unless successfully appealed.
  • Appeals. Appeal through our Discord.

6. Limitation of liability

  • No warranties. The server is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no guarantees about availability, reliability or performance.
  • Liability. Lurec Network is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the server.

7. Privacy

  • What we collect. Your Minecraft username, Xbox user id, IP address and gameplay statistics, to run the server and keep it secure. Statistics are shown publicly on player profiles and leaderboards.
  • This website. It sets no cookies for visitors and uses no analytics.
  • Sharing. We do not share personal information with third parties except where needed to provide the service or to comply with the law.

8. Changes to these terms

Lurec Network may update these terms at any time. Significant changes are announced on this website or on Discord.
